| Congratulations, you and your partner been chosen to help our principal open the Kirby's Mill School Exotic Pet Shop. This pet shop will have animals from all over the world...even animals you never thought could be pets! Many kinds of animals will be available, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, insects, arachnids, crustaceans, arthropods, mollusks, and annelids. |

| Task |
| You and your partner have been given the job of opening the pet shop. Therefore, your first job is to investigate and research animals. Your task will be to classify each animal according to its category, from the list in the introduction. Then you and your partner will describe the animal's habitat, diet and characteristics in a PowerPoint presentation. |

| Process |
| The Kirby's Mill Exotic Pet Shop has enough
room for 14 animals. Each of the categories listed in the Introduction
must be represented by at least one animal. You and your partner will
each research 7 animals. The animals you choose must be a member of
one of the categories in the Introduction. For each animal, you will
complete an Animal Report.
When you and your partner have completed 14 Animal Reports, you will use the information to create a Kirby's Mill School Pet Shop commercial. Use the template in the Kirby's Share Drive to create your commercial. |
